In some cases, it is unnecessarily difficult for young people to obtain an internship, which is very unfortunate given that only professional experience and insights into the professional world are sought. If one were either to make it easier to obtain a job for a few weeks, or to expand the possibilities of gaining insights into the world of work, young people could increasingly make safe and informed decisions regarding their career choice or recognize earlier what is suitable for them and what is not. In addition, this could also increase the number of people actually interested in the respective professions, which only brings further advantages. (Denise Schneider)
